The main ways we can try to generate some income for the site, is through 3 main ways - Google AdWords, Affiliate programs, and selling links.
Google AdWords is a minimal return with most web surfers ignoring their adds these days, and selling links is an interesting possibility, but not a huge reality for us at the moment.
That leaves us with affiliate programs! I have tried so many over the last few years, that although they may pull a few customers through to their offer, sales generally don’t result. Realistically, this is because their offer just is not anything exceptional. Generally the all require a purchase, that web surfers a usually reluctant to do, particularly if they can get the same product in the real world.
