We stayed at the furamaXclusive Asoke Hotel, in Sukhumvit, Bangkok, at the end of March 2009, as we finished our month in Thailand, and prepared to Fly to Kathmandu, Nepal. We booked the hotel as a Wot Hotel, through Wotif, meaning we did not know the mane or exact location of the hotel before we booked and paid for it. We were looking for 4 star hotel in Bangkok, but needed it to be in the price range of the 2 and 3 star hotels we had been staying in for the rest of Thailand!

Wotif had the hotel at 1799 baht at one point, but we had a problem with credit card and couldn’t book it. Next time we were online it was 1999 baht, as against a book price of 2500 baht. So we booked it, as it was advertised as international chains brand new hotel, and in Sukhumvit, where we had decided to stay.

In total we made 10 flights, as of those 5 were with Air Asia. Although I have reported on a couple of these flights previously, I thought it would make sense to give my general impression of Air Asia and their facilities.
