Looks like its all over for IndoJet, and any prospects of their unfortunate customers to get any money back. Below is a letter from the company to customers -
22 January 2010Dear CustomerAdministration of Indojet Asia Pty Ltd (ACN 126347706)
As of 20 January 2010, the directors of Indojet Asia Pty Ltd (”the company”) have moved for a resolution to put the company into administration. As you are aware, this has been brought about by a series of unfortunate events.
As such, the directors have requested the company’s accountants and solicitors to appoint an administrator. We believe that the administrator will be appointed in the next few days. The administrator will be in touch with you with respect to outstanding debts owed to you by the company.
If you require any further information, we request that you be patient and await the administration notice to you.
Yours faithfully

I purchased 2 return tickets to Bali on the 30th June 2009 with Indojet. Only days later found ourselves having to rebook through another airline. I initially accepted Indojets promise to refund or commit to flights at a later date but as the months rolled on and stalling tactics followed added to that a statement that Indojet were about 30% through paying customers back, I held out. What I should have done in the first place was contact my bank and requested a credit cancellation, that way I’d have the money now! There is a three month window of opportunity to do the credit cancellation and as Indojet falsely stated that refunds were in progress, the banks will look at each claim in light of this. Don’t give up hope. Please let me know how you go email : kanelochowicz@bigpond.com

When I contacted the solicitors above (24/05/2010) I was told they are not longer acting on behalf of Indojet and also have joined the queue of creditors - not too good an omen I suppose. They advised me to check with ASIC if an administrator has been appointed - apparently tihis has not happened yet.
PS I am a software contractor and an outstanding bill hasn’t been paid since July2009.
